There are a lot of hungry mouths to feed in our garden! :) This is just one of the blue tit (Pimpelmees) babies getting fed by it's mum or dad:

And today we had this visitor back in the garden, lying happily at the end of the lawn. He ignored me while I stayed behind the apple tree, but when I moved out to the side, to get a better angle on him... he turned tail and left. But he was brave staying as long as he did, because he was aware I was there, and looked at me moving around behind the tree.

And to continue the bird fest... feeding feast... we also spotted not 1.. not 2.. but 3 mistle thrushes (Grote Lijsters) having a splash and a drink on the bird bath!

And a robin has his nest in an apple tree right outside our conservatory window.... Here he (or she) is just about to fly out of the nest again to get more food. Have to make sure it's safe to come out though!
