July 9 - bbq/birthday party!!
Decided to have a belated birthday party/bbq for Andy's 55th... and keep the fact that it was a birthday party a surprise!!
The company was good, the cake was delicious, the food was tasty and the drink plentiful and the fires kept us (mostly) warm if not smokey! Good times!!

As you can see it turns out that we have THREE foxes in the garden... today Mama Fox brought another cub out to play! The 2 cubs were playing in the garden, and having an explore. Mama Fox had seen me, but was not so worried... till the smalles cub spotted me and he was off into the bushes, so his mama and sibling followed. But I caught them on camera anyway, if only just!

Another baby woodpecker in the garden. This one does not seem to fly much yet, as it is just hopping around in the garden. It is good at climbing up the birdbath, trees and the conservatory though!

No idea what kind of bird this is. We think it is a juvenile female blackbird, but the beak seems kinda wrong...??
