I went out to meet a couple of friends for a drink... and my sat-nav said: go here, go there, and then go across this ford....

Well.. I declined!! There was no way I was going to try to steer my normal car across this fast moving water - especially as I had no way of telling how deep it was going to be in the middle.

So I turned back and went a different way to the pub! But not till I very quickly took a picture... so it is not the best quality, but it was the best I could do at the time:

My dinner companions tonight! Had a nice evening at Angela's house: she fed me a BBQ dinner and we then had a game of Scrabble!

The route goes as follows:

JOG - Keiss - Thrumster - Dunbeath - Helmsdale - Brora - Pitgrudy.

He has covered about 80 miles walking in 6 days. Pretty good going if you ask me!
Mixed weather: mostly dry with some heavy showers.
Oh and only 1 blister so far!

Fabric samples of our new sofa have arrived! The sofas will be covered in the stone colour, and the scatter cushions will be in the 2 accent fabrics. Can't wait for them to arrive,we ordered it at the end of June but it has a long delivery lead time :(
