So hard to choose from today's photographs!! It was a gloriously sunny day, and we did quite a few miles sightseeing: from Dumbarton (where we stayed) along Loch Long and up to Loch Lomond. Then along Loch Lomond to the north corner where we drove on past Inverarnan and via Bridge of Orchy across Rannoch Moor. Passing Loch Tulla (still completely frozen over) to a place in the middle of Glen Coe: King House Hotel.
Time for lunch at Kings House Hotel in the middle of Glen Coe, and not only for us, but the deer were completely unafraid of people and eager to partake of the banana the German tourists had! Lovely to see them so close up, I was less than 15 inches away, awesome!
Then onwards through Glen Coe along Loch Leven towards Loch Linnhe southwards to Portnacroish. Then via Creagan along Loch Creran towards Connel and then Lochawe (nice ruin of a castle there) towards Inverary along Loch Fyne. Inverary is a nice town with a nice feel to it, and has a proper fairy tale kinda castle.
From there we drove back to Arrochar and along Loch Lomond and Loch Long back to Dumbarton - though we stopped for a meal in Cardross in the Coach House Inn: very nice people who served excellent food for reasonable money!

It has been a briliant day, what with the sun shining, and the snow on the mountain tops and the deer and the Lochs... So here a few of the pics, can't possibly just choose a single one!
